Helping UNICEF say “thank you”
UNICEF UK wanted to say thank you to their supporters at Christmas time, and had assembled a brilliant archive of video footage of their amazing work from around the world that would prove ideal.
We cut this into an uplifting montage annotated with powerful statements encapsulating the amazing things UNICEF and their supporters had achieved for the world’s children in the past year.
Each section of the video was introduced with a still image onto which we “projected” an introductory clip of footage, before moving in to show the footage in full detail. This treatment allowed us to provide a clear narrative, and also a flexible template that could accommodate last-minute changes to the chosen footage and captions.
The soundtrack was a challenge too — with no time to create new music, and no stock music that we felt was perfect, we settled on remixing a stock track we found to create the ideal score.
The project was a real feat of fast-turnaround post-production; the whole thing completed in under 2 weeks from when we received the initial call from UNICEF!
