To help people running marathons on behalf of UNICEF raise more cash, we gave them their very own bespoke training montage featuring Olympic legend Colin Jackson. Cue POV footage, a high-octane rock anthem, and a great personalised piece of content that our runners could share.
Everyone who commits to a challenging event to fundraise for UNICEF now receives a surprise link to a video clip that appears to show Olympic legend Colin Jackson putting them through their paces in training.
The point-of-view footage shows a succession of tongue-in-cheek scenarios and funny personalised gags designed to grab their friends’ attention and get them in the mood to sponsor. We made the montage easy to share, by housing it in it’s own fundraising page with built-in social media tools the runners could use to push their fundraising total to the limit.
Plenty of other celebs made appearances too. Cat Deeley leaves an motivational answerphone message, Eddie Izzard chips in with a supportive tweet… and poor Ewan McGregor tries in vain to get in touch on Facebook!
