Staff announcement: Tesco have partnered with Diabetes UK
Tesco needed to let their staff know about their new charity partnership with Diabetes UK — but they also needed to inspire their workers into getting behind the charity’s goal of raising £10m. So we created an emotional, educational video — and cast Tesco employees living with diabetes as the stars.
Diabetes UK were delighted to be made Tesco’s new National Charity Partner. But to maximise the potential of the amazing opportunity, Tesco’s staff needed to be inspired.
We created an emotional video which tied animated imagery of a receipt printer with footage of people who are living with diabetes to get everyone up for the fundraising challenge!
Who better to feature in the video than Jessica, Jan and Bharti? All are Tesco staff members currently living with diabetes and their stories are at the heart of this film, complimented with the reflections of other inspirational individuals. The interviews were coupled with info-graphic elements and bold typography, all rooted in a familiar world for the viewer, a Tesco receipt at a checkout in-store. A friendly voiceover and bespoke soundtrack really add to the uplifting feel of the stories and the resulting video educates, inspires, and engages — a far cry from your typical corporate video.
