We’re an independent creative agency based in the heart of Hoxton. We pride ourselves on helping brands tell powerful stories that are rooted in their audience’s interests and told in creative, innovative ways. We’re a growing team of thinkers and doers, comprised of client service, planners and creatives who work closely alongside our in-house design, video and technical teams. We enjoy what we do and who we do it with, and are looking to grow our team with like-minded people.
We are looking for a Senior Digital & Social Planner (or someone awesome who is ready to make the step-up), that has a very strong social and digital skill-set, to join our growing team.
The right candidate will have very solid core planning skills (strategic development, brief writing, creative stewardship, measurement and evaluation) but will know digital and social inside out.
It’s a role for someone that wants to lead, to take on big accounts, own them and help the agency push its strategic offering forward. The right candidate will balance strong analytical skills with inventive thinking and experienced strategic nous.
The right candidate will be:
They will ask the right questions at the right times and in the right ways. Their powers of interrogation will help the client really define what the task is and ensure the agency has the information it needs to answer the brief.
They will lead and advise clients on social and digital strategy and be the expert voice in all-agency meetings. They will be 100% up to speed with all of the major social platforms and the implications of future developments across them. Part of their role will be to help educate the agency on these developments and help Nonsense take advantage of them strategically and creatively.
Their responsibility will be to ensure the work has impact in a way that creates a measurable return for clients. To do this, measurement, testing, evaluation, optimisation and reporting will be key aspects of the role. They will be able to interpret performance across owned, earned and paid for media as well as work with other agencies to understand and comment on the broader effectiveness picture.
They will be more than a problem solver, they’ll have a creative heart. The right planner will be one that creates the most inspiring briefs and identifies opportunities for great work across all of our clients.
They will line manage the more junior planners in the team. They will have the responsibility to help grow their potential and ensure the output of more junior members is good quality. To do this they will have to be both inspiring and crystal clear when it comes to setting expectations and managing work loads.
The character of the right candidate is really important — this is what we are looking for:
