The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Projects Director to join our growing team. You will currently be a Traffic Manager or Production Manager in an integrated or digital agency and are comfortable pivoting between trafficking projects, scoping & costing projects in association with Department Heads and managing timings like a demon.

This is the first hire in Project Management and we see it as a growing function within the agency with a view to the successful candidate building a team around them. Working closely with the Operations Partner you’ll be here to help drive the company forward and share in our continued success and growth whilst delivering some really creative work for a host of awesome clients.

This role calls for collaboration and so we are looking for positive individuals with a super can-do attitude. Key responsibilities, as follows:

  • Ensuring all jobs are sufficiently scoped and costed, in association with Client Services
  • Overseeing the trafficking of briefs throughout the agency inline with Delivery process
  • Approving time sheets
  • Overseeing and refining internal delivery processes
  • Ensuring that the agency is sufficiently resourced to deliver work
  • Reconciliation and reporting on all projects, in association with Client Services & Operations Partner
  • Reporting on departmental performance and team utilisation levels
  • Ownership of the road-mapping, planning and resourcing for new projects
  • Management of freelance booking and all associated administration

Skills & Requirements

  • Exceptional organisation and time-management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the delivery processes, and how to most effectively manage them
  • Experience managing the production and delivery of campaigns in a variety of media
  • 8+ years of experience in a digital/creative agency
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients
  • A self starter
  • The ability to act decisively and solve problems
  • The capacity to grasp concepts easily
  • ICT literacy to deal with various technologies and programmes
  • Immaculate attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
  • Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget and at the right time
  • The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
  • A proven track record and demonstrable examples of success in a similar agency
  • Experience using jobs management tools such as Traffic or AccountAbility
