The Role

This role requires a smart, ambitious and commercially minded Account Director who has a real commitment, passion, and flair for delivering innovative work; combining sound strategic advice, informed marketing knowledge and a string digital understanding across a rich mix of charity clients.

Joining a growing Client Service department they will head up all of our charity clients and thus play a vital role in growing and harbouring relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive business growth and oversee more junior members of the team while they deliver the day to day work. It’s vital that the candidate comes from a charity background, be that working charity side or having led campaigns for charity clients in the past.

They will thrive on close collaboration with planners and creatives ensuring that the work we produce if first class, delivers against our clients objectives and helps drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships — Developing strong and fruitful relationships with key clients through strategic guidance and the delivery of outstanding, effective work.
  • Project Delivery — Overseeing the efficient delivery of projects that are on brief, time, and budget.
  • Finance — Leading forecasting and billing for key clients.
  • Line Management — Mentoring team members, ensuring they are adding fantastic value to the agency and are given clear career development plans.
  • New Business — Assisting with business development and pitches as and when required.

Skills & Experience

  • Direct experience as an Account Director in a digital agency — leading charity accounts
  • Exceptional account handling skills and an ability to think strategically
  • Strong creative brief writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with creative, planning and production
  • Experience with measurement models and project evaluations
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent written English and numeracy skills
  • Experience of business development and pitches would be desirable.
