  • Front End Web Developer

    We are looking for a talented and flexible front end developer who has real passion, flair and
    commitment to developing attractive, functional and fully compatible websites and digital
    applications.

    The perfect candidate will be hungry to work on a variety of projects across an interesting mix of
    clients. They will be able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines and will be naturally
    collaborative. They will also have a natural interest design and the latest digital trends and
    technological advancements.

    Essential Skills

    • Highly proficient in hand-coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
    • Experience with version controlling
    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop - taking layered designs and turning them into fully functional, pixel-perfect sites & web applications
    • Experience developing for popular content management systems and blogging platforms such as Expression Engine and Wordpress
    • Application of web design and development ‘good practice’ standards such as accessibility, cross-browser compatibility; screen resolution etc
    • Abreast of latest technologies and online web design and development trends
    • Articulate and with a professional appearance and manner
    • Excellent command of English language
    • Excellent organisational and planning skills – ability to manage own work schedule and ensure that deadlines are met

    Advantageous

    • Direct experience working in an agency
    • API experience and integration
    • Experience building emails• An understanding of server-side scripting such as PHP
    • Working knowledge and experience of different social networking tools and APIs (Twitter /Facebook / YouTube / Google etc)
    • Working knowledge of databases
    • Experience in developing mobile applications
    • Good client facing skills

    If you are a talented and flexible web designer with a passion for designing attractive, modern
    and usable websites and applications then we would like to hear from you. Ideally you would have
    1-2 years of industry experience but even if you’ve just graduated we’d be interested in hearing
    from you.

    You must have a hunger to work on a varied range of projects across all digital media from social,
    online advertising and rich media to websites, mobile and digital applications for an interesting
    mix of clients. You will be naturally collaborative and able to deliver under pressure and to tight
    deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional passion and ability to create beautiful and cutting edge design solutions
    • An ability to take a brief with understanding and insight
    • An ability to clearly communicate your design ideas
    • An ability to create clean and organised Photoshop templates suitable for implementation by a front-end developer
    • An understanding of web design ‘best practice’ standards such as accessibility and screen resolutions
    • Abreast of latest technologies and online web design trends
    • Articulate and with a professional appearance and manner
    • An excellent command of the English language
    • Excellent organisational and planning skills
    • An ability to manage your own work schedule and ensure that deadlines are met

    • Abreast of latest technologies and online web design trends
    • Articulate and with a professional appearance and manner

    • An excellent organisational and planning skills – ability to manage own work schedule and ensure that deadlines are met
